Problems since day one. The gas cap isn’t threaded, so it won’t stay on. There’s always been a “pinging” sound in the motor, since I bought it. I’ve had it less than a full mowing season, and now it’s sputters, backfires and dies. Toro’s customer service is AWFUL, too. They told me to take it up with the motor manufacturer. I’m in the process of trying to get my money back. It’s under warranty, but I don’t want another one with the same problems.

This is my second one, the 1st, lasted for plus 16 years. This new one work great as of now, I didn’t purchase it through Amazon. I haven’t had any problem with this product

Of all the Toro choices, I narrowed it down to this one and this is why: Briggs engine, mulching, self-propelled, larger rear wheels. All said and done, a year and a half later, I am stiff satisfied and would chose the same model if I had to do it again.I’d like to see wheel height levers easier to adjust as they’re used a dozen time during a season. I prefer to zip along usually my the included plastic chute, but If the grass height allows mulching, I will do that.
